The Next Arizona Governor Is…
For awhile, it looked like nearly the entire population of the state of Arizona was going to throw their hat in the ring to be the next governor of The Grand Canyon State. However, with the ballot qualifying deadline passed and as of June 13, 2014, the field is reduced to the following 10 names according to azcleanelections.gov. If we discover other names that need to be added to our list below, we will make updates as necessary.
Where possible, we have provided links to the candidate’s website and a few biographical notes if you would like to get to know them a little better before the primaries in August and the general election in November.
Once again this year, the Unofficial View will be contacting the candidates in this race with an email interview and posting the responses as we get them. We’re hoping to hear viewpoints from each one so you (and we) can make an informed voting decision.
Over the next few days, we will be drafting our list of questions to ask the candidates and will be posting that list here at the Unofficial View and on Facebook for review. We will also provide an opportunity for you, our readers, to submit your questions for consideration to be added to our list.
